CORE lab graduate students Catie, Joan and Eloise represented the CORE lab at the Association for Psychological Science (APS) Convention in Chicago last week. Joan presented a poster on her work on environmental thinking: “Nature in the Balance: Symmetry in perceived human-nature relations predicts pro-environmental attitudes.” Catie presented her work on how anthropocentrism may affect biology misconceptions: “All about Humans?: Anthropocentrism, but Not Essentialism or Teleology, Related to Misconceptions and Expertise across Biological Concepts.”
Recent CORE lab graduates Alec and Lauryn also attended and presented their poster: “Racial Essentialism Predicts Outgroup Social Comfort.” We are very proud of the hard work of our lab members representing us at this exciting convention for research!
