CORE Lab research assistants Lauryn Lu and Alec Rutherford recently won Northeastern’s Honors Early Research Award. This award is given to undergraduates pursing student initiated research projects. Lauryn and Alec’s project, called Essentialist Thinking and Intergroup Comfort, aims to look at the link between racial essentialism and individuals’ comfort with interacting with different racial outgroups.

Congratulations to Lauryn and Alec on this awesome accomplishment!
