We’re delighted to welcome Joan Kim (L) and Eloise Davenport (R) to the CORE Lab as new doctoral students! Joan did her undergraduate work at Tufts University, where she earned a BS in Biopsychology and Environmental Studies, Communications. She is excited to learn about the science behind cognitive construals and how people organize and act on their knowledge of the world, specifically focusing on the intersections of psychology and environmental studies; she hopes to move towards helping develop a sustainable future. Eloise graduated from the University of Miami with a BS in Exercise Physiology. She is looking forward to learning about the flexibility of intuitive cognitive processes that underscore perceptions of social identity and decision-making behavior, striving to emerge from NEU as a scrupulous, creative, and just thinker, teacher, and scientist.
