On March 17th, CORE Lab graduate students Joan Kim and Eloise Davenport presented their Master’s work at the 2023 Master’s Convention for the Department of Psychology.

Joan discussed her work titled, “Conceptualizations of the Human-Nature Relationship: Human Exceptionalism and Relational Understanding.” Joan’s work studied how people think about the human-nature relationship – and found that there may be various ways that people think about nature that simultaneously but differentially influence pro-environmental attitudes and ultimately behavior.

Eloise’s talk was titled, “Means to an end: Teleology and moral reasoning.” Eloise examined the relationship between teleology and moral reasoning and found that teleological reasoning plays a causal role in moral judgments.

Both Joan and Eloise did an amazing job and we are so proud of all their hard work!
