Last month, members of the CORE Lab gathered for dinner to celebrate the last day of work for our wonderful Lab Manager, Kyleigh Watson. Kyleigh played an active role in the CORE Lab during her time as an undergraduate student at Northeastern, and after graduating in May 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in Health Science, she returned to serve as Lab Manager in January 2023.
In her time as Lab Manager, Kyleigh ensured the day-to-day coordination of the CORE Lab ran smoothly, while also leading and providing assistance in several additional research projects. Her thoughtful insight, guidance, and ability to seamlessly step in wherever needed to help meet the needs of others were integral to the functioning of the Lab, and we are incredibly grateful for her leadership.
As we look ahead to the start of a new semester next week, we’d like to thank Kyleigh again for all of her amazing work over the past year, and for meeting every day with a bright smile! We cannot wait to see what you do next, Kyleigh!
